Oh, the mysteries of God. How deep and how wide they run. The beauty of His mystery is that you just know that for every discove…
My name is Kimberly Ehlers, and I’m so glad you’re here! My husband, Randy, and I have a wonderful son, Seth, who was born with a version of Pulmonary Atresia. Seth had multiple heart defects and needed to have open heart surgery when he was 4 days old. That surgery saved his life, but only took care of one defect. The last 11 years have been years of waiting, praying, and miracles. You can read more about my family and our story here.

I’ve created this site to support parents, like me, who have children with serious illnesses. I’ve watched too many Christian mommies beat themselves up, be consumed by fear, and bare so much guilt. I’ve also watched too many moms make doctors or medicine their god, and put all their trust in them. My prayer is to support and encourage you with my understanding of all those things while pointing you to the feet of God – the answer to everything. Whatever your child’s illness may be, whatever your hurt is, God is the healer of it all.
Don’t know how to relate to God? Don’t know if you can trust Him? That’s OK, grab a cup of coffee, and dive into the articles. A great place to start is our Resource Page – Go to parenting guide
Let’s walk this journey together. You don’t have to do this alone.
In His Love,
I would love to hear from you! Tell me your story, share your hurt, or whatever is on your heart. You can e-mail me at email@example.com
Our children go through so much because of their illnesses, if it’s congenital heart defects or any other kind of serious illnesses. As a parent, who loves their child more than their own life, it’s heart breaking to watch them suffer.
Need some encouragement and some hope? Nothing gives all of that (and more!) than the words of a child! Make a cup or tea or coffee and take a little time to enjoy my interview with Seth. He talks honestly about his hardest times, how parents can help, and how everyone can get through their trials.
I’m working diligently on my newest e-book, “The Messy Motives of a Worried Mom”, and can not wait to share it with you! You will be able to buy it separately or as part of a powerful bundle including the audio of my Messy Motives of a Worried Mom teleseminar and an awesome little audio guide to help you get the most for your audio. It’s such good stuff! OK… back to writing!
