Do You Struggle With Insomnia? by Kimberly Ehlers

Wow, my recent articles about sleep have caused a reaction!

For some of you, things have gotten even more serious.  Your lack of sleep has turned into insomnia.  Trying to sleep has become a constant battle for you – your body will not let you rest even when given the opportunity.

One of my dear friends said that she would love to know how other Moms deal with this problem, and I decided to open up the discussion to all of you.  If you suffer from insomnia or have suffered from it in the past, we’d love to hear from you!  What have you found that helps?  Does anything make it worse?  Please share whatever insights you have on insomnia.  Also, if you are struggling and frustrated too, please share that!

You all have so much wisdom to share, I know you will bless one another!

In His Love,

Kimberly

What helps me is taking a hot bubble bath with some fragrance and then reading a good book and especially reading the Bible before I go to sleep. I also have worship songs on my Ipod and some podcasts that help me to relax and doze off. :)

Is there anything better than a wonderful bath followed by curling up with book? I love it! Maybe it’s because we’re Mom’s that quiet time mixed with some pampering is a slice of Heaven :) .
