Share the Sweetness by Kimberly Ehlers

 How sweet are Your words to my taste,
 Sweeter than honey to my mouth!
(Psalm 119:103, New King James Version)

In the last edition of The Heart Connection, I encouraged you to speak God’s Truth out loud.  When you do, it’s another way for your brain to process Scripture.  His Word is able to stick in your mind, affecting what you believe and how you live.  Clearly, speaking God’s Word out loud is not new according to this verse!

You can say verses exactly as written or paraphrase them.  For example, with this verse, I could say, “God, Your words are sweeter than honey!”

After I posted yesterday’s article, I had an idea.  In that article I had shared a promise verse for you to add to your list (the lists are also from the latest Heart Connection).  I would love to know what promises you are finding in Scripture!  What Scriptural promise of God do you cling to?  What Truth did you find in the Bible about who God really is?  Have you found a verse that tells how much you mean to Him?  Oh, please share!  Talk about blessing others!  I would love to add the treasures you’ve found to my lists!

Add this page to your favorites bar so that you can stop by often to share the verses you find in the comment boxes below.  This will be FUN!  Don’t be shy!  God will use you to bless someone who needs it – isn’t that all of us, LOL?!

In His Love,
Kimberly

    There’s so many great scriptures, it’s so hard to choose! Right now I’m meditating on Psalm 41:11 (AMP): “By this I know that You favor and delight in me, because my enemy does not triumph over me.” God DELIGHTS in us His children!

    By the way, I just LOVE the new “Kimberly’s Updates”opt-in box with the cute graphic! And I loved the bear graphic on this post!

    What a GREAT verse, Beth! Thank you for sharing it. I’m adding it to my list of What God Thinks of Me :) . We need to grasp what it means to be favored by God AND believe that He delights in us.
    Everyday, we are being told the very opposite. We may not feel His favor. Our circumstances may not look like his favor – it may seem like our enemy is triumphant over us. We may believe He’s unhappy with us – and not feel like His child at all.
    I’d love to know what keeps YOU all from trusting that you are favored and delighted in? Do you live knowing you are His precious child?
    (Thanks for your comments about my new graphics, Beth! :) I love it when technology geniuses make it easy for people like me to do fun things!)
    Love,
    Kimberly

    Oh, I’ve got another one :) ! “And they shall be Mine, says the Lord of hosts, in that day when I publicly recognize and openly declare them to be My jewels (My special possession, My peculiar treasure). And I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him,” (Malachi 3:16). That is what God says about us! We are His jewels, His treasure! (This version is the Amplified Bible.) LOVE it! Live today knowing you are His precious treasure!

    There are so many precious promises in these verses!
    “ But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob,
    And He who formed you, O Israel:
    ‘ Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
    I have called you by your name;
    You are Mine.
    When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
    And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
    When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
    Nor shall the flame scorch you…

    Since you were precious in My sight,
    You have been honored,
    And I have loved you;
    Therefore I will give men for you,
    And people for your life.
    Fear not, for I am with you;’” (Isaiah 43:1-2, 4-5a, New King James Version).
